Do you have a pet?

I know - this is a work at home site! But, most of us have a little friend that lives with us and shares our lives - and who doesn't love to talk about them!

The thing is - I had to put my little Guy (my cat) to sleep today. I never imagined a heart could hurt as much as mine is right now. He was over 15 years old, and I knew the day was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier.

I had him before I was married - and he was always with me. I feel terrible for making the decision to put him to sleep - I feel like I let him down. But, they think his kidneys had stopped working because he was getting very sick and dehydrated. I couldn't stand to see him suffer. He went so peacefully - which should make me feel better - but I just feel so sad right now! I held him - and he just went to sleep.

So - make sure you appreciate your little friends. They may be the most loyal and faithful ones you will ever have. Go ahead and brag about them a bit here!

Oh, you poor thing. I know that's always rough. My mom had a dog for 15 years, and when he died she didnt' know what to do with herself. I grew up in an animal lovin' family so I know your pain.

We have a dog and a three legged cat ;) DH had never been allowed to have a pet before he met me, so he's loving life...lol
